ABOUT
Raised in the Fraser Valley of BC, Josiah grew up passionate about the outdoors, art, and people. With his love for mountain and adventure sports, Josiah wanted to inspire others to pursue a life outside. With this desire and a media program at Pacific Academy, Josiah began pursuing adventure filmmaking to tell stories that would inspire those around him. After filming his friends and capturing their mountain adventures, Josiah graduated and began working at Inmist Media House as a cinematographer, editor and marketing assistant. At Inmist, Josiah learned the value of visual communication and developed his skills behind the camera. At this time he also began working towards a corporate communications degree at Trinity Western University.

Josiah continued working for Inmist for another two and a half years, before stopping to pursue a specialized program in Ottawa, called the Laurentian Leadership Centre. In Ottawa, Josiah took classes and was offered a communications internship for the Green Economy Network, an environmental organization working to bridge the gap between labour jobs and the environmental movement. While in his fourth year, Josiah took a job with Fisheries and Oceans Canada as the lead filmmaker and photographer for the Big Bar landslide response. Now graduated from university, he's currently filming for clients and using film to inspire conservation and environmental change.
